The Yellow Ribbon Fund
The Yellow Ribbon Fund was created in early 2005 to assist our injured service members and their families while they recuperate at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center. Our mission began when the father of an injured Marine introduced two of our volunteers to staff at Walter Reed and Bethesda Naval and they told us what needs were not met by other donors.
Golf Tournament for Injured Service Members
Foursomes and sponsorship opportunities are available for the 1st Annual Yellow Ribbon Fund/Army Navy Country Club Charity Golf Classic for Injured Service Members. The tournament will be held on Monday, July 21 at the Army Navy Country Club in Arlington, Va.
Join us for an outstanding day of golf, camaraderie, networking and support of our injured service members. Our goal is to have each foursome include one injured service member. This is a terrific way to welcome them home and provide a day out to aid in their rehabilitation.

Hundreds Enjoy Mologne House Courtyard Opening
In less than six months, the Mologne House courtyard and patio program has been completed and is now open for use. With several gas grills and 10,000 square feet of beautifully bricked patio, this is a fantastic addition that will help with daily life and rehabilitation for hundreds of injured servicemen and women, and their families. On May 3, a formal opening and ribbon cutting ceremony took place in the Courtyard. Click on this link to read the story of the opening:

From March 1, 2005 through December 31, 2007, contributions made through the Yellow Ribbon Fund have provided:
- over 670 free rental cars for over 31,000 days,
- over 8,100 free taxi rides,
- over 2,500 free hotel room nights to over 685 family members in hotels,
- over 38 families the free use of our 5 apartments,
- hundreds of free tickets to sporting games, concerts and plays, and
- hundreds of lunches, dinners, golf games, duck and goose hunts,
fishing trips, etc.
