There was something for everyone at this year’s Warrior Appreciation Day on July 20 put on by the Country Club of Fairfax. For the second year in a row the Yellow Ribbon Fund promoted the day by spreading the word at Walter Reed and the Bethesda Naval Hospital and arranging for transportation to the club and back. Swimming, golf, tennis, a moon bounce, a wonderful buffet lunch and a poolside dinner all made for a wonderful display of appreciation for our wounded warriors.
