YRF Volunteers Get Dirty for the Injured

The Rebel Race in Maryland is a weekend event of 5K and 15K races and military-style obstacles — like mud. Especially mud. Lots and lots of mud.

And also hay.

YRF fielded a team of 26 runners plus 40 volunteers who helped out, raised money behind the scenes, and manned the big yellow YRF tent (donated by a volunteer!) to raise awareness of America’s injured heroes.

Staff Sergeant John Masters, an injured service member, even ran the tough-mudder 15K for YRF!

So did Where’s Waldo, who was spotted among our volunteers at the yellow tent. This was YRF’s first Rebel Race, but with such an awe-inspiring turnout from our volunteers, it won’t be our last. Come join the fun next year!
