Program Chairman. Edward J. Quinn, Jr., President, T.W. Perry, Inc. and Director, Yellow Ribbon Fund, has responsibility for all aspects of the Program, including fundraising and construction. Mr. Ed Quinn has coordinated the major donations for the Program and T.W. Perry is a primary donor of furniture and fixtures for all projects.
Program Manager. Denis M. Neill, Volunteer, Yellow Ribbon Fund, is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Program under Mr. Quinn's direction. Mr. Neill is a constant presence at the site and he has authority over all aspects of the Program, including construction. Mr. Neill is the primary point of contact for the residents and staff at Mologne House and WRAMC. He will be able to resolve any problems and issues that arise.
Deputy Program Manager. Brendan Quinn, President, Ernest Maier, Inc. (Ernest Maier Block), and Volunteer, Yellow Ribbon Fund, is experienced in all aspects of contracting and construction management of outdoor patios, walkways and other projects using paving stones and block construction. Ernest Maier Block is the primary donor of management services and the coordinator for all material and other in-kind donations for the Program.
Project Manager. Ken Cook, Ernest Maier, Inc. (Ernest Maier Block), and Volunteer, Yellow Ribbon Fund, is the Project Manager and the principal supervisor of all aspects of construction. Mr. Cook is the primary designer of the entire program and the principal coordinator of design and engineering services. A colleague of Mr. Quinn at Ernest Maier Block, Mr. Cook has primary oversight of the excavation, construction and landscaping of each project in the Program. Mr. Cook is present on the site on a regular basis, and he manages the day-to-day relationships with all the contractors doing the work. Mr. Cook, along with Mr. Neill, is the primary point of contact for the staff at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC).
Site Manager. Peter Curro, President of Woodfield Landscaping, Inc., the primary contractor for each Project is the person primarily responsible for construction on the entire Program.
Program Liaison. SPC John Williams, an Army Specialist who was injured in Iraq and who is a resident of Mologne House, has over 18 years experience in the landscaping business, including ownership of a company doing significant landscaping projects in Texas. John is uniquely qualified to serve as liaison to the residents of Mologne House and the other living facilities at Walter Reed.
Director, Planning and Design. Todd Hyer, Land Planner, G.W. Stephens, Jr. and Associates, and Volunteer, Yellow Ribbon Fund, has coordinated the generous donation of planning, landscape architecture, and engineering services provided by G.W. Stephens, Jr. and Associates. Mr. Hyer coordinates all drawings, landscape architecture and engineering assignments as necessary. He is the primary point of contact on all matters associated with such plans and documents. No changes to plans and design are permitted without Mr. Hyer's approval.
Senior Producer, American Builder. Rob Haley, Senior Producer, American Builder, The Comcast Network, is responsible for the production of the American Builder's episode covering the construction of the entire Program. The American Builder, a production of The Comcast Network, will produce an episode of its program under the direction of the Office of Public Affairs, WRAMC.
Host, American Builder. Brian Gurry, Host, American Builder, The Comcast Network, will be conducting interviews and filming for the production of the American Builder's episode covering the construction of the entire Program. Mr. Gurry will be a regular visitor to the site, and he will have video crews on the site on a regular basis.
Deputy Site Manager. Mike Southard and Jamie Hovatter, also of Woodfield Landscaping, Inc., are the Deputy Site Managers for the entire Program.
Director, Engineering. Vincent Browning, President, R&R Mechanical, and Volunteer, Yellow Ribbon Fund, is the Chief Engineer for the Program. He will coordinate with Mr. Hyer, provide engineering services and drawings within his area of expertise and assign engineering tasks as required.
Director, Finance. John Leyes, Volunteer, Yellow Ribbon Fund, is responsible for all financial aspects of the Program. He manages all accounts and will approves all contracts and payments for the Program.
Director, Communications. Marie R. Wood, Director, Communications, Yellow Ribbon Fund, is responsible for communications, media relations, and publicity for the Program.
Webmaster. Sonya K. Hughes, owner, Circle Star Consulting, LLC, is the webmaster for the Program and the Yellow Ribbon Fund. She is responsible for the blog site and publication of progress reports on the Program.
