Hundreds Enjoy Mologne House Courtyard Opening

In recognition of the completion of the Mologne House Courtyard, hundreds of servicemen and women and their families enjoyed a special celebration which included a ribbon cutting ceremony. The day started at 2 p.m. with music from the Children's Chorus of Washington. Bob Schieffer, CBS host of Face the Nation, introduced the honored guests: Col. Bruce Haselden, WRAMC Garrison Commander; Denis Neill, YRF Co-Founder; Ed Quinn, YRF Courtyard Program Director; Richard Carbone, CFO, Prudential; and Hon. Pete Geren, Secretary of the Army. The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony included Secretary Geren, Mrs. Rose Mologne, SSgt. (ret) Dan Nevins, LCpl. Tim Lang, Sgt. John Williams, HM3 (ret.) Jose R. Ramos, and Mrs. Melissa Budreau. Chaplain Cpt. Darrick Gutting ended the program with a prayer. Entertainment included music provided by Kevin's Jazz for all the attendees and for children featured magicians, a moonbounce, face painting, and balloon art followed with a buffet hosted by Prudential and catered by Occasions Catering.
